Reed Cheng graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, majoring in ceramics. Cheng has been fascinated with ceramic art since his first encounter with ceramic art objects. In 2008, he set up his ceramics studio i-Kiln Studio in Shek Kip Mei. He explores the creative possibilities of ceramics while learning about the daily operations of a studio. His recent works examine the relationship between people, the earth and the nature.
