Lam Kin Choi graduated from the School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong majoring in Critical Intermedia Laboratory with a focus on paintings and video installations. The focus of his artwork follows the experience of day to day living and explores the invisible relationship between life and art. Lam’s picture book “Siu Ding, the Tram” became winner of the Children Story Group at the Creative Writing in Chinese 2016. He has participated in a number of joint and solo exhibitions including, “Private dairy” (2017) at Fu Tak Building in Hong Kong, Affordable art fair London in the UK (2017) and “Present Tense 2017: New Urban Legend- Resistance of Space (2017) in San Francisco. Lam’s artworks are collected by private collectors from Hong Kong, Italy, the US and Lithuania.
“Slow walk in Hong Kong” is a series of drawings of different leisure activities in Hong Kong, for example, going to theme parks and country parks, going swimming, visiting the library and going to the seaside. Hiking and camping is the theme of this drawing.
