Jess Lau obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Creative Media degree from the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong in 2014. Lau’s works often examine the relationship between contemporary arts and animation / video images with a focus on the latter’s unique features and visual texture. Lau received a Silver Award and Best Local Work Award in the Media Art category in the 20th Incubator for Film & Visual Media in Asia (ifva). Her works have been exhibited in Austria (Ars Electronica Festival in Linz), Zurich, Vienna, Stockholm and Hong Kong.
